Let’s buy Tshirts and Raise funds for our less fortunate.

Out of what turned out to be over 100 submissions, we put out a vote and Mac, Age 9 won. BUT, we felt so strongly about Ben’s beautiful heart, we decided to include it as well!!

To place your order, please refer to the size chart below. Send us an email to info@monacointeriors.ca and we’ll get your order processed. You will receive an invoice which you can pay using etransfer or a credit card. Once you’ve paid, we’ll print your shirt and send it along.

Stop! Don’t hire a contractor yet!

Well hello there! If you have been following my social media for the last week or so, you have noticed that we are putting on a one hour class to teach the public how to get a proper contract and good financing for their renovations. Why? You ask, would we do this?

I guess the truth is, that both Jonathan (handsome guy in photo above), and I are very nice people. Hah! It’s true. And these two very nice people are very very tired of seeing other very nice people get into financial trouble with shady businesses.

It’s like this deep longing inside your soul that jumps up an down with glee every time you see bright pretty toss cushions and brightly painted walls. You are reminded of summer, and amazing vacations and sunshine and life. Oh but you can’t! What will people say? Would if you got sick of it in a year?

Don’t stress. Dance.

April is national stress awareness month. Sounds gross. Feels worse.  Stress is a real thing, unfortunately.

My assistant found this statistic:

At least 1/3 of Canadians feel that they are constantly under stress because they are trying to accomplish more than what they can effectively handle and not taking the time to decompress often enough.

Revolutionary Fabrics

I have been working in the design industry for over twenty years now. Most of those years have been fabric filled.  It’s really an obsession of sorts.  My reps come to visit my office, they bring armfulls of new books. The books are filled with swatches of new and exciting fabrics, textures, colours and patterns. The smell of the fabric fills the room. The colours bounce around and the patterns dance like butterflies around my head. Okay that’s super hokey. But seriously. One the the best parts of my job is finding the perfect fabrics for a space.

Monaco Interiors Thanks You

Can you believe it? Fifteen years. It’s still so humbling to me when I sit back and look at what has been built.

I remember standing in Monaco. Yes, that place with the famed Casino and the Royal Family.  I stood there and looked around me at this perfect place.  The streets are magically always clean. It feels like there are little fairies following people around cleaning up after them.

The architecture is stunning. Iron adorned balconies, colourful yet tasteful stucco buildings, pretty little cafés and perfectly groomed gardens filled with blossoming, fragrant flowers.  I stood there, my eyes scanning the buildings, the sheer drapery billowing in the windows, the sails atop the luxury boats and thought; this is what I want people to think of when they see my business card.
