We interviewed 3 different designers to handle a major reno of our main floor, and ended up choosing Revi based on her portfolio, her professionalism, and our comfort level with her. Revi came up with the new floor plan including new kitchen plan, lighting plan, suppliers, recommended all the contractors, made recommendations on all the fixtures, colours, floors, walls, custom furniture, EVERYTHING!!! She understood the look we were going for, and did a very good job in keeping that in mind and ensuring our (somewhat medieval/gothic) style was evident throughout. When we bought our house, the one thing that we really hated was our kitchen. After hiring Revi to renovate the kitchen, it’s now our favourite room in the house! Revi worked her magic on our old 1980’s style kitchen that was cramped to the point where only one person at a time could really work in it, and turned it into an elegant, modern, functional kitchen in which several people can cook and bake at the same time (and even eat, courtesy of a built-in banquette and some gorgeous custom furniture)! This was accomplished using the same footprint; no structural changes were made. She took all of our dislikes, made sure they never came back, and then checked off every item on our wish list. During the initial consult, she asked our daughter, who is an avid baker, if she’d like a dedicated baking centre. Of course the answer to this was yes. Our daughter now has an area all her own which accommodates her equipment and supplies, and lets her bake to her heart’s content. Revi worked within our budget and helped us prioritize what was worth spending on, and what was worth saving on. While the kitchen is very functional, she ensured we had some catchy ‘fun’ elements that add a lot of personality to the space. Her suppliers and trades were also excellent. Big shout out to Don the electrician (one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet), and the Oakridge kitchen team (artisans in their own right). We certainly got our money’s worth and beyond with high quality materials, and truly professional workmanship and installation. Steven, the foreman (also Revi’s husband), was amazing and very considerate as well. I had casually mentioned to Steven one day that my son and I both had asthma like symptoms. He took it upon himself to come back at the end of each day to clean up to make sure there was no dust to be found. Usually this type of reno creates a massive mess, but it ended up being surprisingly clean. Steven’s attention to detail ensured a quality job was done and no corners cut or missed. He gladly went above and beyond, even contacting the city to ask them to come out to fix our gas meter for us (a problem with the supply side, not the house side) and oversaw their repair! He also oversaw delivery of a couple of extra appliances that had nothing to do with our kitchen. The Monaco Interiors team made what is normally a very stressful project, an easy one. The end result is stunning. Revi’s design vision was executed perfectly and it shows beautifully. Everyone who has come over and seen the new kitchen has given us great compliments on it. Ultimately, the compliments we have received we now pass on and attribute to Revi, Steven and everyone they pulled into our project. Thank you for an incredible job!
My relationship with Revi has spanned several years and many projects. I was fortunate enough to have purchased a gift certificate for her services which she had generously donated to a silent auction at a cancer fundraising event. What a great purchase that turned out to be! At that time, I wanted to warm up my living room but was at a loss on how to achieve that goal. I was so impressed with Revi that I took all of her advice. She was decisive and quick with her ideas, giving me great confidence in the changes that we were making. Since that time, our family has moved and Revi has helped us to transform a new house into our home and sanctuary.
Revi has the ability to listen and then come back with more than one design. The design, tiles and the rest of the things for the bathroom were right on from the first try. This was my first experience with a designer and I was a bit nervous. I was never talked in to something I didn't want. If something needed to be adjusted it was done right away. Ron who did the actually work was a pleasure to have in the house. They cleaned up after every day and that made a huge difference in getting through the renovation. My experience with Monaco Interiors was so good that they will be doing my kitchen this spring.

Revi decorated and co-ordinated renovations to my new condo in the entertainment district. I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. She did a wonderful job - on décor, painting and fixtures and she also sourced and managed a fireplace/TV column that we had constructed and an upgraded/replaced kitchen island.
Revi did a great job in helping me design and manage the contractors for my new condo. I'm horrible with design and didn't know what colours to make the walls or floors but she walked me through it and gave me the expert advice that I was looking for making this a pleasant and easy experience.
We were so lucky to find Revi before we tackled the renovation of our house. We tell anyone who will listen how pleased we are with both the process and the results. She quickly understood our tastes and always showed us products and ideas that we liked. Once the reno was started we were completely confident that we'd be satisfied at the end. That really took the stress out of the renovation for us, even while our house seemed upside down. Revi stayed on top of the work being done and ensured it met her expectations, which always exceeded ours. We were glad to see our house finished but sorry to see the last of Revi's visits. We did the kitchen, all baths, plus paint, flooring, and window coverings on the main and second floors. The only unrenovated space we have left is the basement so we must have her back to tackle that. I can't imagine undertaking another renovation without Revi! I guess we won’t be able to move very far from Richmond Hill when we retire.
Revi is a true professional. When we decided to get shutters in our kitchen we called Revi for a quote. She came to our house, measured the window and we had a quote within 24 hours. Not only was the price competitive but service was excellent. We had some existing shutters and Revi was able to match the profile and size to create a unified look.
We used Revi to help us plan and then execute a renovation of the interior and exterior of our home. Over the course of the Spring of 2013, Revi Mula of Monaco Interiors helped us to design and renovate our basement. Revi was very easy to work with, very professional, and was a good listener. I had strong ideas of my own, and Revi was willing to incorporate them into the overall design of our space. At each phase of construction, Revi would create her drawings and then consult with us about them. We had a large, unfinished and open space, to start with. Revi hired only the best, most highly-skilled tradesmen to do everything for us, from the ductwork to the framing, drywalling and painting, electrical work, flooring, and everything in between. Revi cares about her firm's reputation and she will only work with people who are honest, hardworking and trustworthy and who do the job properly, and in a timely manner. The work space was kept clean, which mattered to us. We ended up with a very pleasing design for a practical work/play area that feels spacious and bright, yet uses every inch of space in a functional way. We now have an extra 3-piece bath, a closet below stairs, a walk-in pantry, a work/studio area, a beautiful seating/sleeping area with gas fireplace, book shelves and big-screen tv, and a games area as well as a new furnace room. Revi respected our budget and found us beautiful materials and furnishings that suited our style. Her tradespeople are very conscientious and and clearly have a good working relationship with Revi. She oversaw the work and made home visits at regular intervals for consultations and to check on the work. She maintains the highest standards for workmanship and final product, and any small problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Revi returned my phone calls and emails promptly, so our communication was excellent. I know that if you want good results, you have to work with people who take real pride in their work, and that's exactly what you get with Monaco Interiors. I would not hesitate to give Monaco Interiors the highest recommendation and have already referred them to some friends. We had a wonderful experience with Monaco Interiors and I would be delighted to work with them in future, should we need any more work done.

We worked with Revi and her amazing team of subcontractors and specialists in renovating our never-been-renovated since originally bought 50+ year old semi-detaching home in midtown Toronto. Revi was outstanding, she immediately understood our goals, timeline and budget and did her best to stick to it. Her design sense is practical, functional and clean, and she is never pushing you to up-sell on higher end finishes or options, if it’s not what you want. But, if you want high-end, she can get that done as well. All of her subcontractors (GC, plumber, electrician, windows, roofer) were an absolute pleasure to deal with and we have since recommended them to many of our friends. We were on a strict timeline with a baby on the way, and her team picked it up to get it done in a timely fashion. My husband forgot to add that the work you and your team did turned me into a very happy tearful/blubbery mess when I saw it... Thanks for creating our dream home!

We had done our home movie theatre on our own. It was okay but did not turn out well. Revi gave us advice regarding color and furniture. The movie theatre looks great. This worked out well for a good price. Now we are having Ravi redo our whole main floor and master washroom. we will post on each project. Thanks Revi.
Revi Mula, the designer at Monaco Interiors, was wonderful to work with! She listened to our thoughts and came up with designs that worked in our two bathrooms that were updated. She brought samples to us to consider and brought back more samples if the first ones didn't work for us (tiles, fixtures, furnishings). Revi made suggestions on how to improve things (like drawers under the sinks instead of doors). Monaco Interiors uses proficient, efficient, friendly contractors to complete the design work - important when they are in your home for several weeks. Revi visits regularly to deliver materials and to inspect the work being done. We are so pleased with the end results of our renovations.
We hired Revi at Monaco Interiors to do some design work in our first home many years ago. Since then, we have moved into a century home. Before moving into our new home, we hired Revi and her trades to complete a large amount of work. They renovated our bathroom, and incorporated all of our wishes, although not easy due to the age of the home. When moving walls on our main floor, we asked that they keep intact the century old plaster mouldings, and fill in the gaps in the wood floors. The end result was spectacular. The colours she chose were exactly what we had envisioned, and she later came back to do our drapery treatments which finished off the house beautifully. Revi has been our designer for many years, and has gone on to help our family with their design needs as well. Whenever we have a design question, we call her in. We trust her opinions, and she always does her best to stay within our budgets.
Revi has been a joy to work with. She works with you and listens to your vision. We met Revi to do window treatments in our home over 14 years ago. Since then, she has helped us with our main floor design, including refacing our fireplace, choosing furniture, fabrics and accessories for us, and even hanging crystals on an antique chandelier! We then enlisted her help with our basement and reupholstery of our exterior furnishings. We have always been very happy with the results. Well, we are off to do another project in our home, and once again Revi makes it all seem so easy. It has been an on going relationship with Revi for many years. She has a very simple, uncomplicated, practical sense about function and design, and is sensitive to your project timeline and budget. Revi did a fabulous job designing and decorating our living room and dining room. She guided me through every asset; from suggesting a fabulous chesterfield and love seat, finding a great set of tables and finding wonderful lamps. Revi went to the stores with me and guided me. Also I brought various pictures to be framed and she went with me to the store and suggested fabulous frames. Revi also suggested a runner for our stairs. The colours and the furniture all complement each other. Everything looks fabulous. I have had many compliments. I would highly recommend Revi and would certainly have her come to my house again as I need further work completed. She is wonderful.

I've had the pleasure of working with Revi from Monaco Interiors renovating and decorating two homes; a home in Markham and a home in Orillia. I got Revi's name from a colleague. She came highly recommended and she lived up to her reputation. Revi sourced and project managed the installation of flooring in both homes. She sourced furniture, light fixtures, lamps and developed recommendations for colour schemes for both houses, top to bottom. Revi has a number of "go to" contractors and suppliers in the GTA and through contacts in the Orillia area has now developed good working relationships with contractors in that region. Revi has a great personality and takes the time to really understand your personal style. She works with you in mind. She is budget conscious while being very creative. She is very considerate and works with your schedule to bring ideas and suggestions to you for input prior to finalizing plans. Once the plans are finalized, she moves forward quickly to execute the plans.
This is the second home I've moved to that Revi has helped me decorate. Her sense of colour is amazing. She is a straight shooter, not hesitating to be blunt when it is called for. Yet ever respectful of taking my wishes and making them work. There was a time when I was not confident that her suggestions would work. However, I took her advice and the colours she picked out worked perfectly with the furniture we already owned. She is generous with her time and her efforts.

Revi brought in a team of contractors to plan and renovate our complete main floor renovation and build a front entrance way to our home. Our kitchen was completely rebuilt and newly designed: new custom built cabinetry and granite counters, ceramic flooring, all main floor windows were replaced (and a new bay window installed), our hardwood flooring was refinished. Our walls were painted using a venetian plaster technique and new furniture and appliances were purchased - all with Revi's guidance with regard to colour, and style. She listened to our vision regarding the look and feel we wanted to create and she guided us every step along the way to make our selections: cabinetry, granite counters, ceramic flooring, lighting, window style, drapery, wall colours, furniture selection etc. and she helped us to create the rustic, warm style of room we had always wanted! We absolutely love the way the rooms have come together and our friends are astounded by the way our home has been transformed. Thank you, Revi, for making our dream a reality!
We absolutely love our new kitchen! Revi Mula, designer, transformed our dated and inefficient 1980's style kitchen into a gorgeous, modern, highly efficient and functional kitchen. We had done our research, considered what we liked and disliked about our old kitchen, our wish list for the new kitchen, and reviewed and tagged ideas we liked in Kitchen renovation books. Revi took this away and came back a couple of weeks later with a layout and recommendations for us to consider. Being a designer, she pointed out some things we had not considered like the style and material furnishing of other rooms and how our center plan kitchen needed to blend and flow with the rest of the house. We did not make any structural changes, but the simple re-arrangement of all appliances and plumbing opened up the kitchen giving us lots of functional work space, lots of drawers (the best thing ever!) and cupboards (we don't have enough stuff to fill them). By the way, we wanted white cabinets but went with very dark cabinets! The Travertine flooring is gorgeous, along with the Quartz countertop! We have under cabinet lighting to compliment the subway tile backsplash. Revi picked out light fixtures for task and dining that we absolutely loved! Revi works with two other companies...Oakridge Kitchens for cabinetry and Ron Rehfeld Plumbing for everything else. They worked with Revi in the design of our new kitchen and were absolutely great to work with. They care; they ask if everything is ok; they want you to be fully satisfied! They do fantastic work! Overall the project took just over 2 months and was on budget! Highly recommended!! A big thank-you to Revi, Ron and Paul! You did awesome!!
Revi was amazing to work with! After three years of being in my new home I decided to finally do something with my living room. I foolishly purchased a neutral print zebra sofa and had no idea what to pair it with. Revi helped outsource furniture to complete the space while keeping with my casual and cozy style - as well as help me move around existing furniture to complete my living room, dining room, and kitchen eating area. We bought a twenty-five year old, dated suburban house and had less than a month and a tight budget to get a ton of work done. I knew a friend who had used Revi to redesign their kitchen and decided to give her a call even though I was certain I couldn't afford a design consultant. Turned out, I couldn't afford not to have one! Revi offered me a small consultation package of 5 hours but in addition to her time she put me in touch with awesome reasonable contractors. Her contractor’s quotes and her discounts saved me so much more then I spent on her consult package. She saved me countless hours that would have been spent looking at tiles, hardwood and paint chips. She helped me define the style of home I wanted and her recommendations allowed me to make quick decisions and get the Renos done in time. I felt confident about every decision made during the renovation because of Revi's talent and confidence. Working with Revi saved me time and money. Revi helped turn our house into our dream home. Our home is comfortable, super functional has a great flow and is downright homey. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

The Heintzman House Auxiliary hired Revi Kay of Monaco Interiors and it proved to be a wise decision. Revi was very informative right from the get go. She explained to us what would work and what would not in order to meet our needs. The house lounge is used during weddings and other functions and the design needed to fill qualifications on many levels while keeping the décor in period style. We are very happy with the outcome as the room portrays period style while maintaining high traffic specifications. She has brightened the dark lounge and brought new life to the historical mansion. My wife and I have been using Revi to stage all of our homes that are listed for sale on the market. We find that once Revi adds her talent to the project the homes tend to sell faster and for more money! Once we sell our clients home, they need to buy one. We can still use Revi to now decorate their new home! We would highly recommend Revi and Monaco interiors to anyone.
I met Revi when she did some pro-bono work for my charity. She was outstanding at picking colour, complementing the type of work we do with a professional eye. When it came to my house renovations, there was no question! It’s true, there is a cost to an interior designer, and I was afraid I honestly couldn’t afford her. It’s turned out that I couldn’t NOT afford her. Every day when we step out of the shower in our new bathroom, we feel like we are at a spa. The contractor for the bathroom was good, but if there were any problems, Revi was there in a heartbeat. In fact, we’ve had some “post reno†issues, and Revi is dealing with these in a professional yet warm manner. We’re close to the end of our renovations in the kitchen now, and my partner and I are still loving our house and still loving each other! I believe that’s because Revi takes the stress out of the renovations. She’s made herself available to us at odd times and is always excited and happy to see the changes that occur. At the very least, Revi has an eye for colour – get her in for one hour to put you in the right direction, or get her for the entire project to ensure things go smoothly. I wouldn’t do a renovation without Revi.
Revi is the best thing that ever happened to our family. Our main floor was a design disaster. We liked the staple things, our kitchen, powder room fixtures, etc., but none of our furnishings worked, and we had no idea where to put anything. She came up with a complete design, ordered it all, and put it all together for us. We love our spaces now. Our living room/dining room combination is the perfect space for entertaining. Our family room is warm and cozy and has everything our diverse family needs. Revi thought of everything. She was honest regarding our budget from day one. This is the second time we have hired Revi Mula and Monaco Interiors to do a renovation in our home and we were just as pleased with the results this time, as we were the first time. Three bathrooms were completely updated. Revi listened to what I wanted and came up with great design ideas and materials. All the bathrooms are elegant and gorgeous now, especially the very upscale master bathroom. My kitchen cupboards were refaced for an update, and the front foyer was given a new floor and window treatment, a beautiful new bench, carpet, light fixture and elegant, full-length mirror. Revi and her team are pleasant and easy to work with; Revi trouble-shoots all problems and concerns immediately and her construction team are all experts. Their top-quality work was done within the time frame discussed, and the house was left tidy at the end of each work day. The guys were very considerate about my cat's safety around open doors, which I appreciated. The work is beautiful and I'm proud to show it to friends and neighbours!
